Types of Treatment
Amy’s goal has always been to integrate eastern and western medicine into a practice. Being dually licensed in Acupuncture and Massage allows Amy to provide well rounded sessions that are tailored to specific needs and concerns.
Acupuncture and Massage sessions should be scheduled separately, unless a combination treatment is recommended, and you are an established patient.
Amy’s massage style of choice, is a deep tissue ashiatsu blend, implementing Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy® (AOBT) and Sarga Bodywork®, both modern forms of barefoot massage.
An overhead bar system or nylon silk are used as tools for balance, while the practitioner applies gravitational force and controlled bodyweight. Sessions are aimed at reducing pain, elongating tissue, and releasing fascial restrictions.
Amy is also huge proponent of Fire Cupping, and frequently incorporates this technique into her therapies, or upon request.
